Where were you born and where did you grow up?
I was born and grew up in Suzhou, Jiangsu, a truly beautiful city with a relaxed lifestyle. I worked in Shenzhen, Guangdong for over three years. During that time, I missed my family and hometown every day, which made me unable to find meaning in life. Therefore, I decided to return to my hometown and stay with my wife.
What college/university did you go to and what did you study?
I attended the university of Nanjing Tech University majored in Computer Science. During my studies, I experienced a campus where academic rigor coexists with natural beauty. Students could hike on scenic trails and stroll by serene lakes, creating an environment that nurtured both mind and body. It was here that I met my wife, formed lifelong friendships, and fulfilled a personal milestone by competing in a basketball tournament. But now, knee and lower back injuries have led me to transition to casual jogging as my primary form of exercise.
What's your favorite season and why?
I’ve always loved summer—it’s all about energy and excitement, just like how I tackle things: full-on passion, no holding back!
Would you rather cook or order in?
Cook, that makes me feel the life.
Would you say you’re more of an extrovert or an introvert?

What's your favorite thing about working at Gradual?
What I value most are flexible work arrangements and a well-defined product philosophy. The full-stack development approach enhances my comprehensive understanding of product ecosystems and business logic, while remote working models empower me to optimize task scheduling efficiently. Moreover, the product capabilities demonstrated by Gradual exemplify operational excellence that aligns with my professional growth objectives.
What are your hobbies, and how did you get into them?
I'm currently honing my photography and videography skills. My journey began with the realization that time flows irreversibly forward, compelling me to preserve my experiences through still images and vedios. Starting with photography fundamentals—mastering the exposure triangle (shutter speed, aperture, ISO) and post-processing tools like Lightroom and Photoshop—I've gradually shifted focus toward dynamic visual storytelling. In this short-form video era, I recognize the unparalleled expressive potential of motion imagery, which drives me to study advanced cinematography techniques, editing workflows, and video post-production strategies to craft compelling temporal narratives.
